A building complex fitting into the landscape has been envisaged that, in spite of its large size, resembles local cottages. We have tried to arrange a part of the plant and the storages under the ground surface so as the mass of the building will not look alien because of its large size. Over the surface high and flat roofs will alternate in order to ease the large mass of the building. For the sake of matching, the width and the height of the high roofed parts are similar to that of the rural buildings of the region.
Two aspects were crucial in the facade design. Simple, high roofed, plastered mass appearance, on the one hand, and highlighting the difference between the plant and the office blocks, on the other hand.
The basic idea was a building complex fitting into the landscape that will only partly appear on the surface, while the storages needing no direct surface contact shall be hidden under the ground. The tank storage spaces needing the largest area and internal height will be sunk into the ground so as the tanks can be arranged in the high space equal to two levels and get natural light at the same time.
