The most up-to-date BMW and MINI brand shop of Central Europe built from HUF 3 billion was inaugurated on 21 September. From this budget, a car showroom displaying unique architectural solutions had been constructed where 30% of the energy requirement and the charging of electric cars are provided by a domestic solar power plant. The environment-conscious BMW showroom of unprecedented size and design in the Central European region was built for Wallis Motor Pest Kft. In the showroom built on a ground of over 10 thousand square meters 16 BMW cars, 16 motorcycles and 8 Minis can be exhibited, and full-scope services will also be provided.
Sustainability is fundamental, one third of the energy requirement of the building will be covered from solar energy and the rest from renewable green energy, including the electric charging station. In the first phase of the project, a complex of over 5 000 square meter useful area is being built on the 10 333 square meter ground. Environmental conscious criteria have been taken into consideration for the project like the heat insulation factors of doors, windows and facades, the collection of rainwater for irrigation as well as the application of high efficiency mechanical equipment.
