As a result of the investment project, the added value of wine products has significantly increased since with the purchase of new technologies more competitive products may be produced with higher nutrient content and outstanding value for money.
The Bock family has been dealing with viticulture and wine-making in the Villány region since 1850. The love of wine and the arts and crafts of wine-making have already been passed down from father to son for nine generations. At the beginning of his career, József Bock harvested from half a hectare area, and now he processes the harvest of grapes of 140 hectares. The Bock Cellar still works as a family enterprise. József Bock manages it together with his children, and he is in the hope that, later on, his grandchildren will also join in. Their work has been awarded by a number of prizes and results; in 2014, they won the prize for the “Most Beautiful Vineyard Estate of Hungary”.
